CASE STUDY: CRABBIE'S

Challenger Escapes’ fully portable, 40ft shipping container Escape Room was completely transformed to create the Crabbie's Festival Escape Room. The multi-room experience its story narrative and puzzles, branding and atmospherics redesigned to harness the Crabbie’s story and brand.

The Challenge

With heritage dating back over 200 years, Crabbie’s is one of the most iconic alcohol brands within the UK.

They support a number of events and for this project they were looking for an innovative sponsorship opportunity at Bournemouth 7s festival.

The Solution

With a smaller budget than usual for this activation, we looked at the best ways to ensure we could fully incorporate the Crabbie’s brand into an experience whilst delivering a highly quality experience for both them and the festival.

We decided modifying one of own assets was the best way to complete the brief.

THE SUCCESS:

The experience gathered a large amount of local PR as the World’s First Festival Escape Room as well as the launch post of the Escape Room serving as Bournemouth 7s’ most engaged organic Social Media post for the entire festival.
