What is Challenger Escapes?

Challenger Escapes is the UK’s most interactive portable escape room that brings the hugely popular escape room concept to locations near to you! Our escape game ‘HEIST!’ is sure to give you an adventurous and immersive experience you won’t forget. Can you take on the challenge?

What is an escape room?

An escape room is a physical adventure game which will test your teams’ teamwork and problem solving. In our HEIST! Scenario you’ll battle our challenges and the clock to try and solve Agent X’s final puzzle and escape with the plans.  

What is the recommended team size?

Challenger Escapes is designed for teams of 3-6 players. For groups larger than 6 you can either book numerous timeslots or get in touch via our contact us page to discuss block bookings.

How long does the experience last?

Our HEIST! Experience lasts for one hour, please arrive ten minutes before your booking to receive the brief!

Are your games scary?

No they’re not! There are no frightening elements to our scenario, nor are there any startling features that may cause distress. Challenger Escapes is a family friendly organisation.

What should we wear?

You may wear any clothing that you feel comfortable in.  

Is there space to leave luggage/coats?

Yes! Our event organiser will be situated in the control tent and you may store any items you need to here. However, we cannot take responsibility for any damaged or stolen items and who knows, there may even be a coat stand in the room!

Booking Help

How do I book?

Pop-Up: Go to our Pop-Up page and use the calendar feature to select the event location, date, and time slot you wish to play.

All game types have a maximum of 6 players per game. If you have a larger group you can either split your players up and make numerous bookings via the booking feature on our Pop-Up page, or get in touch via our Contact Us page.

Please double-check all the details you have entered are correct before proceeding to the checkout stage of your booking process.

Upon a successful checkout and payment you will receive a booking conformation email containing all the relevant details of your booking, including directions to the Challenger Escapes’ pop-up location.

Corporate and Events: Go to our Corporate and Events page and fill out the submission form briefly outlining the nature of your event. We will then be in touch to discuss your booking! 

Do I need a Stripe account to book?

No. Stripe is our default, secure, payment gateway provider. You can checkout safely using any debit/credit card. If you have any problems get in touch with us via our Contact Us page and a member of our team will be in touch.

What do I do if I booked the wrong date/time/event?

Do not worry! As soon as you realise an error has been made then get in touch with us via our Contact Us page and a member of our team will be in touch to advise you on amending the error.

Be aware that bookings are non-refundable although we will always endeavour to move your booking.

Where can I find my booking details?

After a successful checkout and payment has been made, you will receive a conformation email containing all the relevant details of your booking.

If you have not received a booking conformation email from us within 30 minutes of your completed checkout, please check your spam folder.

If your booking confirmation email is still missing then get in touch with the details of your booking and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Can I add more players once I’ve booked?

Yes of course! Providing you have not exceeded the 6-player limit per booking we would love to accommodate extra players. Simply bring them and pay for the extra player on the day.

Can I make a reservation?

If you wish to reserve a timeslot without completing a booking please get in touch via our Contact Us page.

When should we arrive for a game?

We advise that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking time.

What if I’m running late or can’t make my booking?

In order for Challenger Escapes to operate efficiently and on time for all its customers, any customer delays that are longer than 10 minutes after the stated time on your booking will result in your game time being reduced. Any customer delays of 30 minutes or more will result in your booking being cancelled. See Terms and Conditions for full details.

If on the day of your booking you are running late on or can no longer attend, please get in touch via the details on your confirmation email.

How do I reschedule a booking?

If prior to the day of your booking you wish to reschedule please get in touch via our Contact Us page and a member of our team will contact you to advise on amending the booking where possible.

What is your cancelation and rescheduling policy?

Where possible we will always try and accommodate your new timing, however be aware all bookings are non-refundable.

How do I find out where the Pop-Up locations are?

All upcoming pop-up locations are listed on our Pop-Up page. Please get in touch via our contact us page if you have any recommendations!

Do you have any special offers group discounts?

If you are looking at booking for groups of more than 15 then please get in touch via our contact us page and we’ll be sure to throw in a discount!

What time do your events start and finish? 

Our standard day will usually run between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00, however these times may vary between locations. Our interactive calendar gives you an upto date understanding of our availability.

How do I find out exactly where you are located? 

Once you successfully make a booking you will receive a booking confirmation email, this will give you all the information regarding your booking including where to locate us.

What skills will be developed? 

The Challenger Escapes looks to provide a highly enjoyable experience whilst developing numerous skills that can be beneficial in the workplace. Skills that are developed throughout the Challenger Escapes experience include: teamwork, problem solving, leadership, logical thinking, planning and communication. 

How much will the event cost?

All our corporate and events bookings are completely bespoke and therefore pricing varies between each.  Please get in touch with us via our Contact Us page to discuss. 

What do I need to provide?

All we need to run your event is a space for our unit to be located (50ft x 10ft). Other than that we will provide everything you could possibly need. Get in touch to discuss your request.

What are your event hours?

Any corporate or event bookings will be completely tailored to suit your needs. We are willing to work when you are willing to play. 

Health and Safety, Special Circumstances and Accessibility 

Are you covered in case of accidents? 

Challenger Escapes is covered by public liability insurance, details can be provided on request.

Can I play if I’m claustrophobic?

Whilst we feel that the size of our unit allows for plenty of space during your experience, we cannot guarantee your comfort. 

If preferred, we can leave the access door open to help you feel more comfortable, this will not lessen the experience for you or your counterparts. 

Can I play if I suffer from epilepsy? 

Yes

Is your escape room wheelchair accessible? 

Yes our escape room is wheelchair accessible. To ensure suitable space and ease of movement we recommend a limit of one wheelchair user per team. 

Is your escape room suitable for players with hearing loss?

Challenger Escapes is a multi-sensory experience and some of our clues will involve a keen ear, if this is a problem then get in touch and we’ll do what we can. 

Do you have toilet facilities? 

Where possible Challenger Escapes will have access to toilet facilities, this is not guaranteed. To confirm for your location then please get in touch.
