Make your message unforgettable with immersive brand storytelling
What is the overarching goal for brand managers planning a launch or campaign event?
Fairly high on that list of things to achieve might be as simple as creating something memorable.
It’s with good reason, then, that immersive Escape Room experiences have become a go-to strategy for brand teams looking to raise the bar when it comes to corporate engagement.
An Escape Room, when built around your product or campaign narrative, becomes a powerful storytelling device; shifting your message from passive content into an active journey of problem-solving and collaboration.
At Challenger Escapes, we design brand activation experiences that transform narrative into gameplay. From luxury product launches to Gen-Z influencer campaigns, we work with global brands to build puzzle-driven stories that reflect identity, highlight product features and bring users front-and-centre with the message.

Start with the message, not the medium
The best brand activations require clarity. Before even considering game mechanics or room aesthetics, define what your audience should leave knowing, feeling or remembering. That message becomes the foundation of the entire experience.
Take Samsung’s “Unlocked” campaign. The brief was to highlight product features of the newest Galaxy flip phone through an experience targeted at digital creators. We created an Escape Room where every interaction showcased a device – scanning with the Galaxy Watch, unlocking audio puzzles with the Buds, projecting clues using the Freestyle. Far from being an experience simply built around Samsung’s tech. It was made from it.
Each puzzle carried a product insight, and the alignment between function and form made the message stick. The campaign went live across multiple territories and has since been viewed over 200,000 times on YouTube.

Make the game part of the story
A branded Escape Room imagines a space where your brand’s identity, audience and campaign tone all feel native to the puzzle environment.
When we worked with Aviation Gin, the brief was straightforward enough: make the distillery tour unforgettable. We designed a permanent Escape Room set inside Ryan Reynolds’ fictional office – complete with a secret recipe, hidden compartments, and voice cues from Reynolds himself. The puzzles were irreverent, clever and entirely on-brand.
That same Aviation story now lives as a permanent feature of the Portland site – reinforcing the brand personality in a way no static display ever could.

Consider location, timing and scalability
Escapes Rooms don’t need to be tethered to a fixed venue. Many of the best brand activations are built inside ISO containers, temporary sets or modular rooms that can tour or scale. We’ve taken Escape Rooms into festivals, campuses, shopping malls and cruise ships – each with a unique format built around the event and ready to face the potential challenges that location might throw up.
Crabbie’s Ginger Beer used a container-based Escape Room at Bournemouth 7s to tell the story of its heritage. The challenge? Rescue the secret recipe before time runs out. The payoff? A sample of the product itself. The format drove both engagement and PR, landing the brand firmly on the radar of a younger audience.
When you choose the right delivery format, the experience becomes transportable – ready to support multiple locations or extend campaign reach.
